Research Presentations + Governors of Texas & the Solid South
Today our students:
Assignments: None
- Completed their Research Presentations
- Examined & discussed a list of Governors of Texas, noting how after Reconstruction until the late 1970s, every governor of Texas was a Democrat. Since 1995, every governor has been a Republican.
- Compared the Texas governorships with lists of governors of other southern states, including Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and Florida.
